I'm trying to standardize my work clothing, 1) cause it's easier and 2) it will crispify deducting that expense on my taxes. I've got shoes (REI), socks (REI), and pants (bdu.com) down - but haven't yet found an acceptable repeatable source of tshirts, hoodies, and flannels. Just checked out Gempler's and saw that Carhartt makes women's hoodies and tshirts. Problem now 5/6 solved! (Though the tshirt colors are disappointingly girly(pink, baby blue, lavender), so it might only be 4/6 solved).

Yeah, the pics on your blog are good. Thanks for the tips - I'll probably employ 3/4s of them (probably not motivated enough to download a photo editor and have an extra step involved before posting... but maybe I'll try it someday.)

> What a terrible picture!

I think that

* low angle
* no flash
* white dish
* color correction in a free tool like The Gimp

is the way to go.

My pictures (e.g. ) usually turn out good.

> I’m not very good at shopping for clothes.

Really? I never would have guessed!

;-)

...says the guy who buys only Carhartt clothes from the Gempler farm supply catalog, and even has a page full of links in his wiki to make sure that he doesn't accidentally order a DIFFERENT Carhartt polo shirt.

K, I'm proud of you for cooking beets. I love the anti-anti-hero spiel, even though I knew from the start that you still weren't gonna like the beets ;-p. And I'm totally in agreement with you on radicchio - bleh.

Why do you assume that the Tooth Fairy delegates to El Ratoncito? Maybe it's the other way around - I mean, if I were to pick which name sounded more boss-like, El Ratoncito would win out over Tooth Fairy every time. Now who's the racist bitch, imperialist running-dog? ;-)
